The long days of summer offer so many options in the lakes region. Obviously, in the lakes region there is plenty kayaking, canoeing, boating, water skiing to be had. Moose Pond is great pond for fresh water fishing.
Fall is our favorite season in Maine. The bright foliage colors are usually spectacular and Bridgton is a great jumping off spot to leaf peep. If you enjoy hiking Loon Echo Land Trust maintains some hiking trails to the summit of Pleasant Mountain.
Winter in the city can boring but at Pleasant View it is a time of excitement and thrills. Shawnee Peak Ski Area offers day and night downhill skiing. With Moose Pond frozen over offers fantastic ice fishing and cross-country skiing If skiing is not your passion you can snowmobile from your door to just about anywhere in the state on an ITS snowmobile trail.
