The long days of summer offer so many options in the lakes region. Obviously, in the lakes region there is plenty kayaking, canoeing, boating, water skiing to be had. Moose Pond is great pond for fresh water fishing.

Fall is our favorite season in Maine. The bright foliage colors are usually spectacular and Bridgton is a great jumping off spot to leaf peep. If you enjoy hiking Loon Echo Land Trust maintains some hiking trails to the summit of Pleasant Mountain.

Winter in the city can boring but at Pleasant View it is a time of excitement and thrills. Shawnee Peak Ski Area offers day and night downhill skiing. With Moose Pond frozen over offers fantastic ice fishing and cross-country skiing If skiing is not your passion you can snowmobile from your door to just about anywhere in the state on an ITS snowmobile trail.

West Bridgton is truly in the heart of four seasons of recreation. The community is just feet from the Moose Pond public boat launch, snowmobile trails and within a mile of Shawnee Peak Ski Area. Winter brings the opportunities to downhill ski, cross-country ski, snowmobile and ice fish. Spring and fall bring opportunities to hike, fish, hunt and leaf peep. Moose Pond’s public boat launch is just a quarter-mile away so getting to the lake for water sports in the summer is quick and easy.
